This statement is being made in response to the many requests regarding the status of Visual Communications Company (VCC) compliance with respect to the European Union’s Directive 2002/95/EC Restriction of Hazardous Substance (RoHS), 2002/96/EC- Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) and 2003/11/EC for new electrical and electronic equipment put on the market after July 1, 2006. We certify that all plastic components manufactured by us or for us meet these requirements effective June 15, 2004. Additionally, compliant replacement components (terminals and wire) for our cable assemblies and connectors have been identified and phased in. All new production of our cable assemblies, connectors and sockets became compliant as of May 1, 2005. No new part numbers will be assigned and compliance will be determined by date code issued by manufacture date.
